Greetings from Montana

Hi everyone,
My first blog post as I come out of the freezing temperatures. I've been busy working on my latest -- a six-book series titled WHITEHORSE MONTANA. It begins in June with SECRET OF DEADMAN'S COULEE followed in July by THE NEW DEPUTY IN TOWN. The series continues November/December and May/June.
I'm having a great time since my move to this part of Montana. Instantly, I got into the history of the area only to find out that I'd moved to one of the last places that outlaws ran free. Kid Curry, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid all hid out toward the end of their careers right here along with some lesser known but very colorful characters. Some of their descendents still live in the area.
I'm weaving that rich history into my new contemporary series about four families born and raised in Whitehorse. Of course there are lots of mysteries to be solved and love to be discovered.
Meanwhile, the latest in my MONTANA MYSTIQUE series, BIG SKY STANDOFF, is out now. Speaking of outlaws...my hero is a cattle rustler broken out of prison to help my heroine, a stock detective, catch a band of thieves. Takes one to know one, right? Check out the cover.
Along with writing, I'm unpacking boxes and trying to get moved in. I swear I am never moving again. :)
